How you can help

If you are a voting rights activist, a Souls to the Polls organizer, a student leader or a local theater director, let us know if you'd like to produce this show in your community.

If you work for or lead a voting rights organization, we would like to collaborate to make this show as useful to you as possible.

If you are a voter and want to lend your time and skill to the project, let us know how.

And if you are part of the professional creative community and you would like to support this work, we'd welcome that.
A bit about me
I'm Shane Keats, the producer behind If You Can Keep It. I conceived of it as a way to channel my anger in a way that adds scale to the extraordinary network of existing organizations fighting for voting rights.
During the day, I manage the industry strategy and analysis practice for Akamai* Technologies’ video streaming business.
Before that, I spent 15 years at tech start-ups.
I’ve been a writer and producer for NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw and a senior producer for CNN.
I spent a few years working in politics a long time ago.

And I chose the theater because my father was an actor. I grew up doing homework backstage.
